Anna Moore grew up playing softball. But a change in schools saw a change in sports. She decided to give golf a try the summer before her freshman year at University Heights Academy. Despite getting what some would consider a late start in golf, Moore is hitting her stride. She was named All-OVC at Murray State and won her second Kentucky Women’s Amateur title.
Next month, Moore will play in U.S. Women’s Amateur in Kingston Springs, Tennessee. Given the confidence she has shown combined with her results in the past year, don’t count her out when play begins August 6.
