Hopkinsville’s James Folz led the Tiger golfers Monday in a tri-match with Trigg County and UHA at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club. Folz shot a 37 as the Tigers finished 14 shots behind Trigg County.
Evan Pyle shot a 42, followed by Will Binkley (46), Calvin Demps (49), and Andrew Riggs (52).
On Saturday, Folz led the Hoptown golfers with a score of 83 at the Dawson Springs Invitational at Pennyrile Forest State Park. Will Binkley shot a 90 followed by Evan Pyle (93), Joey Falco (104), and Calvin Demps (111).
Marshall County’s Tyler Powell shot a 70 to win the event.
Hoptown’s score of 370 was good for 16th out of 21 teams at the event.
