The University Heights Academy volleyball team earned its second victory of the season in as many tries with a 3-0 win over hosts Fort Campbell on Thursday night. The Lady Blazers are yet to drop a game so far this season, cruising past the Lady Falcons by scores of 25-8, 25-13 and 25-12.
UHA had 18 aces in the contest, led by Lily Hendricks with 10. Hendricks also had five kills. In her first game as a Lady Blazer, Meghan Adams had eight kills, while Evelyn Morales had five kills. Sophomore Beth Peebles had 22 assists.
The Lady Blazers will look to continue their perfect start to the season on Tuesday when they host the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm. Fort Campbell travels to Cadiz to face Trigg County with both teams searching for a first win of the season.
