Christian County’s Micah Smith tied for medalist honors with Hopkinsville’s James Folz Thursday in a tri-match at Western Hills Golf Course. Both golfers shot a 40. Houston George shot a 43, and Ethan White added a 51. Bridget Owens and Hannah Sumner both competed with the guys
Thursday and played from the men’s tees. Owens shot a 52, and Sumner shot a 54.
Christian County (186) finished three shots behind Hopkinsville (183) and six shots better than University Heights (192).
For the ladies, Jenna Humphries took medalist honors with a 41, while Jennalyn Kelly added a 62.
