Trigg County’s Grayson Thomas shot a 79 to finish seventh at the Ballard Memorial Golf Invitational Saturday and helped the Wildcats to a fifth place team finish.
Mayfield golfers Andrew Watson (73) and Husten Lancaster (75) finished first and second in the tourney. Mayfield finished second as a team, two shots behind St. Mary.
Hunter Reynolds shot an 85 for Trigg County, followed by Ty Butts who shot a season-best 86. Caleb Federspiel shot an 87, and Ethan Nolcox added a 93.
Trigg County will have a match with Crittenden County Monday at Deer Lakes Golf Course.
