Will he start or will he not start Thursday night’s season opener for Purdue against Northwestern. Caldwell County grad Elijah Sindelar reportedly knows the answer to that question, while the rest of us may have to wait until Thursday to find out.
According to a report from Gold and Black, Sindelar, along with the other potential starter, David Blough, were told of Coach Jeff Brohm’s decision after Purdue’s practice on Sunday.
Sindelar, a junior, played a portion of his sophomore season after suffering a torn ACL. Sindelar is quoted in the report as saying that the game plan for Northwestern will be the same regardless of which quarterback plays.
