Fort Campbell picked up their first win of the 2018 volleyball season Wednesday come-from-behind five set win over Kenwood, Tenn.
The Lady Falcons dropped the first set 25-20 but rebounded to win the second 25-12. Kenwood won the third set 25-16 and was on their way to a match win before Fort Campbell claimed the 26-24 win. The Lady Falcons closed out their first win in 12 matches dating back to last year with a 15-8 win in the fifth set.
The five-set win was Fort Campbell’s first their last win – a 3-2 victory over Todd County Central Sept. 28 of last year. It was their first five-set road win since Sept. 14, 2016 (Northwest).
Fort Campbell (1-7) will try and make it two in a row Thursday when they host Christian County, looking to snap a 20-game losing streak to the Lady Colonels dating back to 2010.
