Trigg County finished 11th at the Marshall County Golf Invitational Saturday at the Calvert City Country Club.
All five of Trigg County’s golfers were within five strokes of each other. Darrin Goodwin led the way with an 85, followed by Hunter Reynolds and Grayson Thomas who each shot an 86. Caleb Federspiel and Ty Butts each came in with a 90.
Marshall County’s Tyler Powell won with an even-par 72, with Ohio County’s Trey Lewis finishing one shot behind in second place.
The Marshals also won the team title on their home course with a score of 306. Mayfield was second with a 315, and St. Mary was third with a 322. Trigg County was 11th with a score of 347.
