Kylee Crass scored twice for Marshall County as they jumped out to a 3-0 first half lead and made it stand up in a 4-0 win over Hopkinsville Tuesday at the Stadium of Champions.
The win by the Lady Marshals snapped a three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-4 on the season. It was Marshall County’s fourth straight win over Hopkinsville – all by shutout.
Hoptown’s last win over Marshall came in 2012.
While the Lady Tigers didn’t score, they got a strong defensive performance and 18 saves in goal from Natajea Babb.
Hopkinsville (3-4) will travel to defending region champion Henderson County Thursday.
