The Lyon County boys’ soccer team lost 6-1 to hosts Hopkins County Central in Morton’s Gap on Thursday night. The loss is the Lyons’ second-straight and fifth straight outing without a win, dropping them to 1-5-1 on the year. The Storm snap a two-game losing run to improve to 3-5 overall.
The Lyons will travel to Elizabethtown this weekend to take part in the Thoroughbred Cup at the Elizabethtown Sportspark. On Friday night they face off with Bryan Station (6-3), followed by games Saturday against Holmes (1-4) and Central Hardin (5-2).
