The Trigg County boys’ soccer team used 3 second-half goals from Will Jolly to beat Todd County Central 5-0 Monday night in Elkton.  The Wildcats win their third-straight to improve to 6-1 overall, while the Rebels slip to 0-9.

Trigg’s Cristian Llarena opened the scoring 15 minutes in off the first of 3 assists from senior Daniel Martin.  With 10 minutes left in the first half, Martin set up Elijah Gaines and the Wildcats led 2-0 at the break.

Martin crossed for Jolly to score off a header for a 3-0 lead with a half hour to play, before he scored unassisted 15 minutes later.  Jolly completed his hat trick with a header off a cross from Clayton Setliff for the final 5-0 score.  Matthew Smith and Peyton Phillips each played a half in goal for the shutout.

The Wildcats are on the road again on Tuesday with a trip to face Logan County (4-3).  Todd County will be looking for its first 13th District win on Tuesday when Franklin-Simpson (2-4) comes to Elkton.
