Christian County is getting hot at the right time. The Lady Colonels beat Trigg County in straight sets 3-0 Thursday for their fourth win in their last five matches.
The Lady Colonels (8-13) beat Trigg 25-15, 25-14, 25-20 at Wildcat Gym for their ninth straight win over the Lady Wildcats dating back a decade.
Christian County has a pair of tough home matches next week – Tuesday with Henderson County and Thursday with University Heights Academy.
Trigg County (5-9) will play at Hopkins County Central Monday.
