Christian County golfers took the top two individual spots during a golf match Monday afternoon at the Madisonville Country Club. Houston George finished his nine hole round with a score of 40. That score was just good enough to edge out his teammate, Josh Johnson, who finished the day one shot off the lead at 41.
UHA’s Weston Wood finished in 3rd place with a score of 42.
In the team competition, Hopkins Central edged out Christian County 175-179. Madisonville finished 3rd at 192. UHA only had three golfers record a score, and thus was not in competition on the team side.
