A former member of the UHA Lady Blazers volleyball team has been recognized for her performance on the collegiate level. Meg Starling, a 6-6 redshirt senior at Ball State, was named the MAC West Division Defensive Player of the Week.
Over the past week, Starling collected 23 blocks, averaging 1.64 blocks per set. Her performance helped lead Ball State to a 4-0 record for the week.
The Cardinals are 9-4 on the season.
