Heritage Christian Academy junior Thomas West is now the school’s all-time leading scorer in the Warrior soccer program, and he isn’t finished yet.
West scored five goals in HCA’s win over North Hardin Christian Sept. 7, giving him 56 career goals and bettering the old mark set by Joe Alvarado.
Despite being the team’s leading scorer, West has been used where he is best needed, including defense for the Warriors this year.
Given the solid surrounding cast around him, many of whom return next year, 100 career goals isn’t out of the question for West in 2019 and then maybe more in college.
