The Fort Campbell volleyball team earned its second win of the season over the Todd County Central Lady Rebels, coming out on top 3-1 on post Thursday night. The Lady Falcons won 3-2 in Elkton earlier this month and now stand at 4-14 overall.
The teams played a tight opening set, with the Lady Falcons prevailing 30-28. The Lady Rebels bounced back in the second by a score of 25-16 to tie the match 1-1. However, Fort Campbell took control in the third set with a 25-15 win and closed the show with a 25-11 hammering in the fourth.
The Lady Falcons have the unenviable task of going on the road on Monday to face a UHA Lady Blazers team coming off an upset loss to 8th District rivals Christian County. The Lady Rebels travel to Morton’s Gap to take on Hopkins County Central.
