Lyon County had the opportunity to snap their losing skid Thursday but missed on several scoring chances in their 4-2 loss to St. Mary.
The Lyons got 14 shots on goal in the game but only found the net twice. Travis Crayne scored a pair of goals off assists from Clay Haines.
Lyon County (1-13-1) dropped their tenth straight match with the loss. After a Tuesday trip to Henderson County, the schedule eases up some for the Lyons heading into district play the second week in October.
