Christian County continued to see their times trend downward at the 39th Annual Marshall County Cross Country Invitational Saturday in Draffenville.
K’Ron Sherald led the Colonel runners with a time of 20:46 (112th place), less than a second ahead of teammate Nicholas Sanderson (113th).
Ethan Dooley was 118th, followed by Ryan Simpson (149th), and Dasean Dunham (165th). As a team, Christian County was 18th with 478 points.
A pair of seventh graders led the Lady Colonels across the finish line. Jessie Paulter (26:23) was 97th and Jaynah Cady (26:24) was 98th. Mystery Siler finished 122nd and Aly Adler was 125th.
Perry Cunningham finished 13th in the middle school boys’ race, and Lillian Westerfield was 19th in the middle school girls’ race.
