Heritage Christian Academy clinched the No. 1 seed in the KCAA Region One Tournament Tuesday with a 25-5, 25-20 win over Oak Ridge Christian in Morgantown.
Grace Schluckebier had four aces for the Lady Warriors, while Emma Kirkman and Elle Heltsley each had three. HCA also had 11 kills in the contest with Heltsley, Meredith Crunk, Cami Nelson, Allie Boyd, and Tori Sutton each notching two.
Heritage Christian (25-12, 8-3) moved up one spot to No. 4 in this week’s KCAA Volleyball Power Poll. The Lady Warriors will travel to Lexington this weekend where they will play No. 1 Trinity Christian Friday. On Saturday, they will play No. 2 Community Christian Academy and Lakeside Christian.
