A long road trip led to a tough weekend for the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons volleyball team. The Lady Falcons traveled to Whitley County to participate in the First Priority Lady Colonel Volleyball Classic.
Fort Campbell began play Friday evening in the event losing a pair of matches. The Lady Falcons were swept by North Laurel 25-18 and 25-10. They also lost in straight sets to East Ridge 25-12 and 25-10.
On Saturday, Fort Campbell battled and lost a tough two set match to Knox Central 27-25 and 25-13. The Lady Falcons also fell in straight sets Saturday to South Laurel 25-5 and 25-14.
Fort Campbell kicks off the final week of the regular season Monday evening when they host Muhlenberg County.
