University Heights Academy made quick work of Mayfield Saturday, scoring four goals in the first five minutes to beat the Lady Cardinals 10-0 in a contest called at the half due to the mercy rule.
Lilly Strader scored four goals, and Kate Cansler scored three times, including two quick ones to start, for the Lady Blazers. Ashlyn Parker, Emerson Barlow, and Piper Hancock also had goals to round out the scoring for UHA, and Grace Pape added three assists.
UHA’s defense also put the clamps on Mayfield (1-13), holding them without a shot for the contest.
The Lady Blazers (9-5) close out their regular season Monday when they host Madisonville at Givens Field.
