With four goals Saturday, University Heights Academy senior Lilly Strader became the Eighth District’s all-time leading scorer for girls’ soccer.
Her 164 goals are now one more than the 163 Lexie Bozell scored for Hopkinsville from 2009-12. Earlier this year, Strader passed Hopkinsville’s Bennett Peck (153 goals from 2007-10) and Kelsey Humphries (141 goals from 2010-13).
Strader, who has committed to play college soccer at Murray State University, will finish her career as the Second Region’s all-time leading scorer behind Henderson County’s Maddie Griggs.
