The Caldwell County Lady Tigers saw a two game winning streak come to an end on their home field Tuesday night. Calloway County came into Butler Stadium and blanked the Lady Tigers 4-0 in their next to last game of the regular season.
Calloway County got on the board just nine minutes into the match when Zoe Stom found the net to put the Lady Lakers up 1-0. Elle Carson provided the assist on the goal.
Two minutes later it was Carson’s turn, as she got the goal to extend the Lady Laker lead to 2-0.
At the 27:00 mark, Zoe Stom scored Calloway County’s third goal of the first half to push the lead out to 3-0.
Caldwell County’s defense then clamped down on the Lady Lakers until the waning moments of the match. Zoe Stom finished a hat trick with 5 minutes left in the match for the final 4-0 score.
With the loss, Caldwell County falls to 8-11. The Lady Tigers will wrap up the regular season Thursday evening when they host Webster County.
