Austin Knight won his first golf tournament of the fall season for Murray State after a dominating performance at the UTM Skyhawk Classic at Paris Landing State Park in Buchanan, Tenn.
The former Hopkinsville High standout shot an 11-under par over the three rounds to win by eight shots. It was his first win since the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate in April.
Knight’s showing helped Murray State take second place by one shot behind Tennessee State.
Murray State will play in the Rex Chaney Classic at Eagle Trace Golf Course in Morehead Saturday.
