Heritage Christian Academy had a good showing at the Trinity Christian Invitational held at Masterson Station Park in Lexington.
Luke Bottoms led the HCA runners in the boys’ varsity race with an 11th place finish in a time of 21:35 over the 3.1-mile course. Pate Griffey was 25th and Will Nichols was 30th. As a team, HCA finished in fourth place.
Aiyana McDonald finished 19th to lead the HCA girls’ runners in a time of 30:18. She was followed across the finish line by Katie Carroll in 30th place.
In the middle school girls’ race, Liberty Hartsell was eighth in a time of 16:24 over the 1.8-mile course.
Lucas Brockwell was the top elementary boys’ school runner (seventh place), while Anneliese Hartsell was the top elementary girls’ runner (18th place).
