The Hopkinsville boys’ soccer team ended regular-season play with a 4-1 win at Greenwood on Saturday. The Tigers enter postseason play on a 2-game win streak and stand at 12-6-2 overall. Greenwood hadn’t lost in 4 outings, but slip to 11-6-2 on the year.
Zach Moore paced the Tigers with a couple of goals, followed by Jose Favela and Ryan Roussel with one each. Goalkeeper Xavier Bussell made 9 saves for the win.
The Tigers begin postseason play on Tuesday when they face hosts Fort Campbell in the 8th District tournament. Hoptown beat the Falcons 5-0 on post in the first week of the season.
