The Todd County Central football team had a brief lead Friday night at McLean County, but the Cougars rolled past the Rebels 41-7 on homecoming night in Calhoun.  The Rebels see a 2-game win streak stopped to slip to 4-3, with the Cougars snapping a 2-game slide to also move to 4-3 overall.

Down 6-0, Todd County’s JaTwan Graham picked up a fumble at the Cougar 20 and took it in for a 7-6 lead.  However, those would be the last points of the night for the Rebels, as McLean ran off 35-straight to close the game.

While Friday’s loss doesn’t hinder the Rebels’ postseason chances, it likely means they will go on the road for their first round playoff game.

Next week the Rebels have the unenviable task of going on the road to face 6-2 Owensboro Catholic.  After dropping their first 2, the Aces are on a 6-game winning run while averaging almost 47 points per game during the streak.
