The Lady Blazers win their fourth-straight to improve to 24-14 overall, while the Lady Trojans end their season at 15-16. UHA’s last regional win was a 3-0 victory over Webster in the first round of the 2016 tournament.
UHA won the first set 25-13, followed by 25-7 and 25-12 scores in the second and third. The Lady Blazers path opened up a bit with Hopkins County Central knocking off Crittenden County in Monday’s other match. The Lady Storm had lost the previous three meetings with the Lady Rockets this season, but earned a 3-2 win when it mattered most. UHA split two matches with Crittenden during the regular season, while they beat the Lady Storm 3-0 in their only meeting.
