After last season’s senior-laden Hopkinsville boys’ soccer team lost 3-2 in a shootout to Warren Central in the opening round of the KHSAA state tournament, many assumed the Tigers would take a step back in 2018. However, senior Zach Moore says he and his teammates had other ideas, and that determination paid off Tuesday night with a 2-1 victory over Calloway County and the program’s first-ever state-tournament win.
