The Murray State football team will host 21st-ranked Southeast Missouri Saturday for its 2018 home finale, as well as Protect & Serve Day that will honor veterans and first responders. The game is once again an OVC Game of the Week Wildcard selection and will be broadcast on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.

Saturday will be one of the coldest days of the fall so far with a high of only 46. The good news for the fans is there is only a three-percent chance for rain and the winds will be moderate at 5-7 mph out of the NNE.

Despite Murray State holding a healthy 39-12-1 advantage in the overall series with Southeast Missouri, the Redhawks have owned the series as of late, winning six of the last 10 meetings including four of the last five. The last win in the series for Murray State was a 44-41 double overtime victory in Murray in 2014 over a 23rd-ranked SEMO team. In Murray, the Racers have lost just four of their 25 clashes with the Redhawks at home, despite being 3-3 in their last six meetings at Roy Stewart Stadium.

Murray State currently has 10 different receivers with at least 100 yards on the year, marking the most since the 2012 edition of the Racers had 11. In addition, nine different Racers have caught a touchdown pass this season, tying the 2018 squad with 2012 and 2014 as the most since 2011.

Next week, the Racers make the short trip to Clarksville for their final game of 2018 and a 2018 Heritage Bank Battle of the Border showdown with Austin Peay. Kickoff from Fortera Stadium is set for 4 p.m.
