Clarksville Christian jumped out to a huge halftime lead on the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons on Tuesday night, cruising to a 61-11 victory on post. The Lady Falcons slip to 0-2 on the season and are scheduled to take part in the Trinity Shootout at Trinity (Whitesville) this weekend. Fort Campbell will open with a game against the hosts (1-0) on Friday, before meeting Frederick Fraize (0-1) and Owensboro (1-0) on Saturday.
The Lady Falcons failed to get on the board in the first quarter, and trailed 35-1 at the half. Freshmen Keionna Brown and Lilliauna Powers scored 6 and 4 points, respectively, in the second half to lead the youthful Lady Falcons. Fort Campbell’s 10-player roster is comprised of four middle school players, three freshmen, a sophomore and a couple of seniors.
Sydney Desroches led the way for Clarksville Christian with 14 points, followed by Alexis Radcliff with 10.
