A Caldwell County mother has been named the November Sports Mom of the Month by YourSportsEdge.com.
Holly VanHooser, the mother of three sons who have donned the Caldwell County blue and gold, was selected among the online entries.
Drake and Hunter have both graduated from CCHS, while Tate is a sophomore member of the football and baseball teams.
“She has supported all three to the utmost to assure success on and off the baseball and football field. Not to mention been the go-to mom for Coach Barnes for anything needed to insure all the small details are taken care of for team functions and meals for eight years running now,” the nomination said.
The Sports Mom of the Month is sponsored by the Magnolia Too Boutique in Hopkinsville. Each winner will receive a $25 gift card to Save More Drugs in Hopkinsville and Adams Breezy Hill Farm Restaurant and Mercantile. Holly is now eligible to win ‘Sports Mom of the Year’ to be announced in the summer.
