After dropping two of three games at the Owensboro Invitational Tournament, the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers will look to gain some momentum for 2019.
The Lady Tigers (9-4) will be playing in the FNB Holiday Bash at South Warren and could play four games in three days.
Hoptown will play Apollo Thursday at 3:00. The E-Gals (8-3) won two of three at the same OIT Hopkinsville played in before Christmas before falling to Webster County 66-38 in the semifinals. Apollo has won six of seven games.
Later Thursday night, the Lady Tigers will play Graves County at 7:00. The Lady Eagles have played one of the tougher schedules in western Kentucky in posting a 5-5 record.
The combined record of the five teams Graves has lost to is 42-10. Three of their five losses have come to Second Region teams Christian County, Henderson County, and Webster County.
Friday, Hoptown returns to the court to play Breckinridge County at 2:30. The Lady Tigers are 7-2 with one of their losses coming to Christian County 46-44 on Dec. 1.
Other teams in the event include Harrison County (6-2), Meade County (2-7), Central Hardin (6-5), and host South Warren (5-4).
Hopkinsville will return home Jan. 3 to play Madisonville.
