The Glasgow girls’ basketball team improved to 11-3 with a 65-23 victory over hosts Todd County Central on Saturday. The Lady Scotties win their fourth-straight, while the Lady Rebels slip to 2-10 overall.
Glasgow used 6 first-quarter points from both Amanda Lee and Anzley Adwell to build a 21-7 advantage, before taking a 40-13 lead into halftime.
The Lady Scotties’ balanced attack continued in the second half, with three players reaching double digits in scoring and nine getting in the score book. Nina McMurtrey put up 10 in the third quarter, and Glasgow held Todd County to only 10 second-half points for the 42-point win.
Glasgow’s Ashanti Gore scored 13 to lead all scorers, followed by Kayla Bradley and McMurtrey.
Amy Brumfield and Paige Rager each finished with 5 for the Lady Rebels.
Todd County is off until Friday, when it returns to 13th-District play with a trip to face Logan County (8-5).
