Caldwell County had two wrestlers place at the Father Ryan Johnny Drennan Memorial Wrestling Tournament held Saturday at Father Ryan High School in Nashville.
Seth Slayton had Caldwell County’s best finish at fifth place. He won five matches on the day with none of his two losses coming to Kentucky wrestlers.
Dylan Walls won three matches and finished seventh in the 120-pound class.
Riley Johnson (106) won three matches but did not place, while Aaron Hensley (138) won two matches.
As a team, Caldwell County scored 46.5 points to finish in 24th place out of 44 teams.
