Trigg County had a team finish second at the Calloway County Laker Invitational Saturday on Kentucky Lake.
Ty Meacham and Chase Oglesby teamed to catch three fish weighing 10.86 pounds. Their big bass weighed 3.82 pounds.
The first place duo of Ethan Carson and Cade Franks of McCracken County caught five fish weighing 19.66 pounds. Their big bass weighed 4.67 pounds.
Trigg County’s Avery Harper and Audrey Smith finished fifth overall and were the top female team in the event. They caught two fish weighing 6.88 pounds, including a big bass of 4.27 pounds that was the third biggest of the day.
Trey Carr and Anthony Ethridge caught two fish weighing 6.42 pounds and finished in sixth place.
Andrew Greene and Jordan Hampton finished 19th with one fish that weighed 2.40 pounds.
There were 32 boats in the event that caught a total of 36 fish weighing 108 pounds Saturday.
