Cold Shooting Does in Lady Falcons Against Christian Fellowship

First half offensive struggles continue to plague the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons. Fort Campbell was limited to just four first half points Saturday afternoon as Christian Fellowship ventured onto post and came away with the 45-15 win.

The Lady Eagles held the Lady Falcons to a single field goal in the opening quarter as they jumped out to an 11-2 lead. It was more of the same in the 2nd quarter, as again Christian Fellowship’s defense gave up a solitary field goal, while their offense extended the lead to 23-4 at the half.

Christian Fellowship kept the defensive pressure rolling in the third quarter, giving up just four points. The Lady Eagles continued to pull away, moving their lead out to 37-8 after three quarters.

CFS used the big lead to get playing time for several players down the stretch of the game as they pulled out to the final 30 point margin.

Fort Campbell was led by Lilliauna Powers with 8 points. Asia Cabili added 3 for the Lady Falcons. Cold shooting continued to plague the Lady Falcons, as they connected on only 7 of 42 from the field.

Christian Fellowship 7th grader Gracie Howard led all scorers with 14 points.
