Christian County’s Jakerion Merritt wrapped up his second-consecutive Region 1 wrestling title on Saturday at McCracken County, topping Union County’s Gabe Adams 3-1 in the title match of the 132 lb. division. Afterward, Merritt talked about his game plan in the championship, and says he’s now turning his attention toward a state title.
