With the 8th-District semifinal and his high-school career on the line, Christian County senior Fred Tandy scored a miraculous 5 points in the final 5 seconds to send the Colonels to a 57-54 win over Hopkinsville and into Thursday’s title game against UHA.
While the play might not have been called for him, Tandy was ready when the ball found him, knocking down a corner 3 and coming up with a steal and score on the inbounds pass to send the Colonel crowd into a frenzy.
