Dawson Springs threatened to spring an upset when it went up 28-27 late in the first half, but top-seeded Madisonville-North Hopkins used a 23-0 run to take control and went on to win 66-50 Tuesday night in the semifinals of the 7th District tournament at Mortons Gap.
