After cruising to two regular season wins over UHA, the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers found themselves trailing the Lady Blazers at the half in Monday night’s 8th-District semifinal. However, the Lady Tigers surged ahead in the third quarter and held off a late UHA rally for a 52-49 victory.
Afterward, Coach Anthony Babb was happy with his team’s performance despite the close call.
