After claiming the 5th-District title last week with a 46-41 win over Lyon County, the Trigg County girls’ basketball team made its return to the 2nd Region tournament on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, they ran into a talented and experienced Henderson County team, falling 68-27 to end their season.
Afterward, Coach Cory Coble talked about his team dealing with the big stage, as well as the Lady Colonels’ defensive pressure, and says the Lady Wildcats are working to change expectations for the program.
