
After a decade-long absence from the 2nd Region tournament, the Trigg County girls’ basketball team rode a 5th-District championship into Wednesday night’s meeting with Henderson County at Rocket Arena in Crittenden County. However, the Lady Wildcats’ stay was short, as they lost 68-27 to the Lady Colonels.
Senior Bethany Stallons knocked down two first-half 3-pointers, and after the game she spoke about the step up in competition and the bright future she sees for the Lady Wildcats.
