After losing to Somerset Christian in both regular-season meeting this season, including a 33-point loss in Hopkinsville, the Heritage Christian Academy boys’ basketball team put up a valiant effort in a 70-60 loss to the Cougars in the KCAA state-title game Saturday.
Afterward, Coach Matt McGowan talked about the size disadvantage the Warriors faced, and praised his seniors’ hard work and contribution to the program.
