Former Hopkinsville Tiger Josiah Patton will be playing in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Tournament that gets underway Wednesday in Rochester, Minnesota.
Patton and his Rock Valley College Screaming Eagles are the No. 5 seed in the tournament. They will play Bunker Hill (Mass.) in the first round.
Patton is a sophomore at the Illinois school after spending his freshman season at Navarro, Texas. He averaged 10.1 points and 3.2 assists for Rock Valley (23-6) and was named to the District II All-Tournament Team after scoring in double figures in each tourney game.
