Christian County opened their 2019 track and field season Saturday at the Henderson County Colonel Classic with the Lady Colonels taking home an individual title.
GIRLS
Autumn Bell – 1st in the 200-meters (27.62)
Ariyonna Johnson – 2nd in the high jump (4-8); 2nd in the long jump (15-8.5)
Cierra Ward – 3rd in the long jump (15-2.5); 8th in the 100-meters (13.46)
Zniya Benson – 4th in the 200-meters (29.30)
Jameisha Mack – 4th in the discus throw (77-07); 15th in the shot put (23-8.75)
Arian Cushenberry – 15th in the discus throw (64-03)
800-meter relay team finished second (1:53.52)

Ethan Dooley – 2nd in the 300-meter hurdles (45.24); 6th in the 110-meter hurdles (19.68)
K’Ron Sherald – 5th in the 200-meters (23.79)

The Lady Colonels scored 48 points to finish ninth out of 13 teams, while the Colonels scored 31 points and finished 11th out of 14 schools.
