Union County scored in every inning but the fifth to beat Crittenden County 16-7 Tuesday and give Tanner Fowler her first win as coach of the Bravette softball program.
Union County rapped out 14 hits and took advantage of seven Lady Rocket errors. Union scored four runs in both the first and second innings and five more in the third.
Ellie Smith had three hits and four RBIs for Crittenden County, including a two-run home run. Brandy Book added a pair of hits, and Jenna Potter (double) and Jessie Potter (triple) had extra base hits.
Sheridan Oldham had three hits and four RBIs for Union County (1-1), and Hannah Carter added a home run and four runs batted in.
Crittenden County (1-1) will host Calloway County Thursday.
