Hopkinsville outhit Butler County 7-6 Friday, but the Lady Bears took advantage of the mistakes they were awarded and beat the Lady Tigers 10-0 in Morgantown.
Hoptown committed four errors that led to five unearned runs for Butler County.
Hannah Chaney doubled twice and drove in three runs for the Lady Bears, who improved to 2-2 with the win.
Hopkinsville got two hits from Marley Hancock and Sebrina Hodge and a double from Nadia Clayton.
Hancock allowed three earned runs and struck out five for the Lady Tigers.
Hopkinsville (0-2) will look to get on the winning track Saturday at the Monroe County Invitational in Tompkinsville. They will play Adair County (0-3) and Metcalfe County (1-2).
