After striking out three times in a season-opening win over UHA, Hopkinsville’s Layne Jorgensen bounced back in a big way on Friday night, going 3-3 with a couple of triples and 2 RBI while also pitching three no-hit innings to lead the Tigers to a 13-0 victory over Webster County.
Afterward, Jorgensen talked about his performance on the mound, and credited a change in approach for his improved fortunes at the plate.
