With Caldwell County returning to the 2nd Region All A Classic, only one team will get a first round by in the 2020 regional tournament. Official from 2nd Region All A school recently met to conduct the draw for the regional games.
The first round games for the boys regional tournament will be played on January 14. Lyon County will host Dawson Springs, with Crittenden County hosting UHA in the upper half of the bracket.
The lower half of the regional bracket has Caldwell County hosting Livingston Central. Fort Campbell is the team receiving the bye for the quarterfinal round.
The semifinals will be played January 17 at Livingston Central. The winner of Lyon County/Dawson Springs will take on the winner of UHA/Crittenden County in one semifinal, while Fort Campbell will take on the winner of Caldwell County/Livingston Central in the other semi.
The boys championship game will be played January 18 at Livingston Central. UHA is the defending regional and state All A champion.
In the girls tournament, the first round games will be played on January 13. Crittenden County will host Livingston Central, with Caldwell County hosting UHA in the upper half of the bracket.
The lower half of the girls’ regional bracket has Lyon County hosting Fort Campbell, with Dawson Springs getting a quarterfinal bye.
The semfinals and finals will be played at Dawson Springs. The semifinals will be played January 16, with the winner of Crittenden County/Livingston Central taking on the winner of Caldwell County/UHA. The second semifinal will have the winner of Lyon County/Fort Campbell taking on Dawson Springs.
The championship game will be January 18. UHA is the defending girls 2nd Region All A champion.
